Airtel Open Community - Beta Release Soon

Last week, I received a call from a person who claimed to be an employee of a consulting firm and is performing a beta test. He told me that Airtel is going to launch a Open community for developers. Immediately, it struck my mind that he is talking of something like a iPhone developer Center or Android Developer groups. He then asked me questions such as: what picture do you infer when I tell you Airtel Open Community? will a developer be interested in such a concept? Is the name Airtel Open Community suitable? Would you be interested in such a community? Would you be interested if a one time registration fee of Rs.10,000 is charged?......

He asked me questions for around 30 minutes and finally thanked me for the candid responses that I gave.

Moral of the story: Airtel Open Community will be out soon!!!!

Will News Corporation become Microsoft's ally?

Microsoft's dream of taking over Yahoo may realize soon as News Corporation is in talks with Microsoft about joining its bid. Yahoo has asked Microsoft to raise its bid amount for future discussions. Though this looks like an excuse as Yahoo wants to be independent, raising the bid will certainly put pressure on the stakeholders of Yahoo. On the other side, Google is trying to introduce its AdSense in Yahoo website.

Both the software giants are vying to increase their advertisement market.
